CONQUERING THE DEMONS WITHIN

As I look within, I see growth. I know what I'm ready for in life and I know what I'm not ready for in life. I finally feel like I'm at a place that whatever comes my way, I'm ready to accept it. I have had some time to deal with things in my life that have affected me mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Now it's time to move forward.

I see so many people crying out for attention. We have been pressured to appear perfect in a world where everyone is dealing with some type of issue. Sadly, it seems like there aren't a lot of people available to help this generation. Sadly, those older than us seem to be dealing with some of the same issues. A vicious cycle that continues to repeat itself. The churches aren't really available to meet the needs of the people as many of the churches today have turned into a business. Society has become so cold and so selfish. The majority of us are only concerned about ourselves. We want people to care about us but we don't care about anyone but ourselves.

I myself am a business-minded young woman. I'm realizing that there are probably plenty of other individuals that want to go into business for themselves. However, they probably don't have any examples of others around them that are in business for themselves. It's much deeper than looking like we have it all together. So many of us are dealing with issues that have affected us physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally for a long time. While we aspire to do great things, we don't have the motivation and support to follow through with those goals.

When you can't grasp a hold of what's going on within it continues to affect many areas of your life. This abandoned generation is looking for love and acceptance in every way possible.  When there is no knowledge of self you spend your life searching for what will make you happy. People go from one relationship to another looking for that other person to make them happy. When that person doesn't make them happy, they leave and the search starts all over again. We acquire material things to make us feel like we are somebody. Yet, we still feel empty within. We are trying to heal ourselves with temporary pleasure.

We have to deal with the things that torment us within if we truly want to live a balanced life. Share your thoughts and feelings with those that you trust and that offer solutions. Many times you will have to remove yourself from toxic and negative situations. If you want something different out of life, you have to make a change. You may have to distance yourself from family, friends, and associates to figure out what's right for YOU. For when you are alone, you truly learn what makes you happy. You are not pressured to do things to make others happy. Alone time allows you to focus and not be distracted by everything else going on around you. In this time alone, seek God and ask him to direct your path. Ask him to send the right people into your life.

  1. Romans 7:21.I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22.For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23.But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24.O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25.I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Here the Apostle Paul is identifying the war within, he also identifies how to win. We must fight to win only through Jesus Christ.
